Support Inventory Pick and Warehouse Pick Operations for Jobs in Dynamics 365 Business Central

Another favorite update of ours in the Top 10 features of Dynamics 365 Business Central 2022 Wave 1 is the Support Inventory Pick and Warehouse Pick Operations for Jobs. With this feature, jobs can now be integrated with Inventory Picks and Put-away, as well as Directed Put-away & Pick Locations.

Business Value: Businesses can enable warehouse activities for jobs to ensure an effective flow through the warehouse and to organize and maintain inventory.

To enable the new feature, you must first search for Feature Management.

Click on Feature Management to see the list of all available for All Users. Click on Enable inventory and warehouse pick from Jobs.

To configure the parameters, Go to Jobs.

 

Click New to create a new Job.

In the Actions menu, notice Create Inventory Pick and Create Warehouse Pick actions are now available.

Put-away / Pick Line / Movement Lines and Registered Pick Lines are the other two new functions, which may be found by clicking Related then Warehouse.

Click on Actions menu, before enabling the new feature.
